Acumen Mindset is thrilled to announce that we are organizing events to support our mission of empowering individuals to develop a growth mindset and unlock their full potential. Through our events, we aim to raise funds that will enable us to expand the reach of our programs and develop new initiatives. These events will not only help us in providing access to the mindset development materials but also contribute to the creation of new resources that cater to the diverse needs of individuals from all walks of life. We are deeply appreciative of the opportunity to collaborate with a diverse range of businesses in our shared commitment to supporting the community.
As of 2021, the National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH) reported that nearly 5.5% of adults in the United States were unable to obtain the mental health services they needed due to cost. This statistic highlights the financial barrier faced by many individuals seeking mental health care. One of our future initiatives will be to partner with the proper companies and agencies to help with providing assistance to individuals to cover the cost of mental health copays.

An event tailored to leaving behind the hustle and bustle of daily life and indulge in a couple of hours of pure relaxation and fun. We provided mocktails, food (provided by Wegmans of Raleigh), yoga tips, and so much more.

Fundraiser Program
We have partnered with gotsneakers - a sneaker recycling organization to assist with the reduction of pre-loved sneakers going to the landfilled! If you are interested in donating, please email us. We can arrange for a public meet-up and collection.
Fundraiser Update:
We were able to collect over $50 from your donations! This allowed Acumen Mindset to provided assistance with the Wilson Humanitarian College Scholarship!

Partnered Event
The Humanitarian Scholarship is available to high school students whom have demonstrated community leadership and made a difference in the Wilson by volunteering. They must attach a student essay that demonstrates how they used their time, talents and resources to help disadvantaged and oppressed citizens, made efforts to overcome obstacles and open doors to solutions, improved the quality of life, raised awareness, participated in advocacy or worked to reduce discrimination and injustice.

We partnered with The Original Rose of Sharon located in Wilson, NC to assist with the Annual Backpack Roundup event!
We were able to donate over 100 items including: notebooks, pencils, etc.

Fall Ball is fall festival that is hosted each year. The goal is the invite community partners to come to the library for 2 hours to share resources with the community they might not know of. Acumen Mindset was a proud community partner this year!
